We at Coast to Coast are thrilled to announce our sponsorship of an incredible upcoming pickleball event focused on a cause close to our hearts: supporting the mental health and well-being of firefighters. Organized by Kris Emond, a dedicated firefighter/paramedic from Williamsburg, VA, this tournament aims to raise awareness and funds for the critical issue of firefighter suicide and mental health.

Scheduled for May 18, 2024, this event is more than just a competition; it’s a gathering of community, camaraderie, and support. Partnering with the Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance, the tournament will channel all proceeds to assist those in the firefighting community affected by mental health issues and suicide.

As sponsors, Coast to Coast is not only contributing financially but also adding a touch of fun and community spirit to the event. We’re providing gift cards and coupons for the silent auction, along with specially designed stickers that embody the spirit of both pickleball and firefighter communities.

At Coast to Coast, we believe in the power of pickleball to bring people together—whether for physical activity, mental relief, or social connection. Supporting this event aligns perfectly with our values, and we’re excited to see the positive impact it will have on the participants and their broader networks.

Whether you’re a pickleball aficionado, a supporter of our brave firefighters, or someone who cares about mental health, there’s a place for you in this event. Let’s serve up some support and make a difference together!

At this point the tournament doesn't have a website to visit but we hope with this year's success and traction, that will change seoon.

Let’s play pickleball for a purpose and help keep our community heroes strong in both body and mind!
